Apple and Tesla stock split

One of the largest companies, Apple and Tesla, announced the upcoming stock split. Apple’s board of directors approved a 4-for-1 split of the company’s stocks, and the Tesla’s board of directors approved a 5-for-1 stock split. A split is a breakup of one stock into several: for each #Apple share investors will get three more shares, and four for each #Tesla share.
These actions of the company’s management make the already popular fast-growing stocks even more attractive and accessible to new investors, because the cost of one #Apple stock will be 4 times less, and #Tesla share will be 5 times less!
Stock split will not affect the fundamental indicators, but it may have a positive impact on quotes due to reduced prices and the flow of new investors.
From August 31, 2020, transactions on #Apple and #Tesla instruments will start at new prices.
Please note that on August 28:
– #Apple and #Tesla assets will be switched to the “Close only” mode;
– all open positions for #Apple and #Tesla must be closed by clients no later than 22:55 server time;
– transactions that remain open will be forcibly closed by the company at the closing prices of the session.
