Google stock split

The board of directors of Alphabet Inc. decided on 1:20 stock split in February 2022. The last time the splitting of shares was performed in 2014 in 2:1 ratio, when the company’s share price exceeded $1,000.
Since then, the value of one share has risen beyond $3,000 in 2021 and, after a rollback, is now worth more than $2,200.
Without a doubt, the upcoming split will attract a new flow of investors to one of the most popular technology giants in the world. After all, one Alphabet share will become 20 times cheaper at once!
The split will take place on July 15, and from July 18, transactions on the #Google tool will open at a new price. Please note that on July 15, 2022:
– the #Google tool will be switched to the “Close Only” mode;
– all open positions on #Google must be closed by clients no later than 22:55 server time in accordance with clause 17.4 of the “The procedure for submitting, processing, and executing client orders to fix the price of the underlying asset when performing transactions with non-deliverable OTC financial instruments”;
– transactions that remain open will be forcibly closed by the company at the closing prices of the session.
