GameStop stock split

GameStop has unveiled a plans about 1-to-4 stock split in March. The company’s board of directors approved on July 6, 2022.
This will make the shares of the popular American retail chain selling video game consoles, computer games and gaming accessories even more affordable, since after the split one GameStop share will become 4 times cheaper!
The split will take place on July 21, and from July 22, transactions on the #GameStop tool will open at a new price. Please note that on July 21, 2022:
– the #GameStop tool will be switched to the “Close Only” mode;
– all open positions on #GameStop must be closed by clients no later than 22:55 server time in accordance with clause 17.4 of the “The procedure for submitting, processing, and executing client orders to fix the price of the underlying asset when performing transactions with non-deliverable OTC financial instruments”;
– transactions that remain open will be forcibly closed by the company at the closing prices of the session.
